Can I mix olympic lifting and bodybuilding?

Absolutely. We can take concepts like powerbuilding (powerlifting and bodybuilding) and apply them to the combination of olympic lifting and bodybuilding (which I'm calling olybuilding).

Start with your oly lifts, and then incorporate hypertrophy to build the supporting muscles.

Be weary of common overuse injuries in the shoulders & biceps that can effect your oly lifts.

Combining modules is my favorite way to train. If you're tired of the same-old routine, give this new concept a try!

Thats the way I train now. Oly lifts, improving vertical, hypertrophy and some conditioning.

This is my favorite way to train!! Everyone thinks I’m a body builder physique competitor and asks my split. I tell them I do Oly and body building exercises as accessories.

I'm on Pump lift 3x per week. Would love to always start with an Olympic lift and than Pump with Focus. Or give us a Supplement program witch we can put on the start of hour training whatever persist track we do. Like every training da starts with one Olympic lift and than do our track.

I have been doing that for about 3 years already, , , eat A lot is a lot of fun, but the taxing is not a joke, , I agree I don't even do biceps anymore. The pulls movement takes care of that your bicep won't look big, but it's still going to look good ... and don't get too greedy. I need to plan ahead if you're going to go heavy on the oly lift week in advance because if not on the juice, you would be dead ass tired ..

This workout advice is getting insane and complicated as theoretical physics. Only 25% of Americans report regular physical activity. If you are among that group, then stop analyzing it. You're already better off than most people. Just train the way that makes you happy, ffs.

I wouldn't suggest that to any person who is not lifting for atleast 5 years.
Reason is simple you dont have that level of muscle mind connection or experience to realise what works with what so for people who are early in gyming or bodybuilding dont go for it you can easily injure yourself and not recover like ever.
Those who have atleast 5 years in their belt go for it but with caution.
Olympic lifts are the most injury prone lifts so be careful.
