The Lion and the Lamb Maranatha! Singers with Lyrics (4K)

Показать описание
I would love to know why the Maranatha! Singers' The Lion and the Lamb is not played more often or better known. As far as I can tell, Bill Batstone's lyrics put to Anne Barbour's melody is just perfect. There's a lot of gospel truth in this song, which can be found on Praise 14 if you'd like to put it in context. Let me know what you think in the comments below. :)

Lyrics:
Who is he?
Who's the mightiest of all?
Who is he?
Creation trembles at his call.
Who is he?
The lowly sacrifice.
Who paid a victim's price,
His name is Jesus.
Jesus, from the Father's own right hand.
Jesus, Son of God and Sson of man.
Jesus, who died and rose again.
Jesus, he's the Lion and the Lamb.
Who is he?
With the power none can tame.
Who is he?
That every foe would fear his name.
Who is he?
Who was humbly led away,
to suffer that dark day?
His name is Jesus.
He's the Lion and the Lamb.
Who is he?
With the eyes that burn like fire.
Who is he?
Oh, the wonder He inspires.
Who is he?
He bore the guilt and shame
for those who'd gone astray?
His name is Jesus.
