Pay to Play - Is It Worth It?

Unlike canals, rivers and the sea, most inland lake operators charge a launch fee to use the water with your stand up paddleboard or kayak.
For this video I have gone to my nearest spot, Hollingworth Lake in Littleborough, to see how this works and whether it's worth it.

Nice to see a Snipe still useable. We did slaloms in them in the late 70s. Nice to see it was also kitted out with the round for the individual number and the square for the team number just as ours were. The number was different from event to event so were usually just made on the day with black insulating tape. I may try Hollingworth its not that far from me. Does the paying get you access to changing rooms. Talkin Tarn in Cumbria does.
