Using concealer before foundation has been a huge gamechanger for me. I actually learned it from my daughter who got it from the internet, and I was like "no, that's backward...wait, let me try it once...." It makes covering my melasma patches so much easier and more natural looking. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks. 🤣

Ahhh I feel so validated! I always do my "upper" eye makeup, then undereye concealer, then "lower" eye makeup and I thought I was weird because it seems like I never see anyone else doing this!

Robert, I cannot thank you enough for your videos. I’m 26 and have never applied make-up. Whenever I go to events my sister would usually do it for me (very occasionally). Last weekend, I did my own make up for as a bridesmaid for my friends wedding. I had SO many compliments from people asking how I had managed to make it look so perfect, especially from people who know I’m not a make up user. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you. This morning, I decided to throw out my routine/process completely and try yours - you know, for fun, and maybe a little because my whole face melts off after an hour in the heat. No primer almost killed me, I'm not gonna lie, but oh, my GOD. My skin looks like skin, but airbrushed. Glowy, well-applied skin.

Thank you for this vid. I apply makeup in the same order except spf, I always apply it before primer and let it set for 20-30 minutes.

Interesting primer before spf. I’ve never tried that order. Also, because my mascara is always so messy I actually do that first. Find it easier to clean it up before eye makeup. I’m going to have to try primer before spf.
