Don’t eat nuts! They’re high in fat, and full of calories!

How often have you heard this? 😜

This is a very limited view on this amazing food! Go nuts! 😄

The benefits of eating nuts & seeds are endless!

First of all, they’re a real food! And since there is so much ultra processed food around us, we need to lean into real food as much as possible.

Nuts & seeds have healthy fats, which are essential for our health. As well as varying amounts of protein & carbs too.

Eating nuts & seeds won’t create a blood sugar spike that many of our high carb meals do, which over a long period of time can be damaging to our health.

They’re rich in a variety of vitamins, minerals, and fibre too. But make sure you vary your nut selection for best health benefits.

So, this food group could be an easy, simple, plant based and satiating snack in your well balanced diet!

And yes, calories are important, but good quality nutrition is even more important!

What’s your favourite nut?
I love them all, but I’d have to say cashews I think!

Through having some gut health issues; I discovered that eating almonds helped get things moving like they should. So really I rely on nuts now. Thanks for the video!
