John is a very clean and precise player. That's one thing I love about him. He isn't hiding a lack of skill under a ton of reverb, delay and accidental string noises. The sloppier techniques of most guitar players covers up a lot of inadequacies, either of themselves or other players. John's precise playing makes those that aren't so good (Vince) stand out more.

I love Motley Crue. I loved Vince. But he needs to step away. And I like John 5 but Mick Mars style and sound were what made Motley Crue’s whole vibe. Sounds weird but John 5 sounds too “Clean”.

John 5s sound is to clean he doesn't have that gritty heavy sound that Mick had and im not taking a shot at john hes a great player just not right for motley mick is definitely missed
