I've had acouple of these and that's how they start out, but then you realize that you can fit way more just throwing them in and lying them down in the container. An that you can fit about 6 or 7 more if you take the foam piece out. An so instead of a nice organized container, with mags nearly standing up. You just end up with a container packed full of mags lol.

The springs in magazines decades ago would wear out being stored under pressure. Mags these days are made with much higher quality spring steel. Store them loaded. 28

I feel like if they just cut it in half one for pistol one for AR mags it would fit better but if they had two separate sections for loose ammo like pistol ammo or rifle ammo segregated into the respective sizes it would be very accommodating

Looks clean and nice set up. Just wish you would hold more mags for the size.

i just just fit more bunch of mags by laying it flat and stacking on top of it and not leaving a gap

i keep most of my mags coupled the rest reside in gun cases, ammo boxes and certain spots around my home

Not only there is a lot of wasted space but you could do this in a way more compact way with just cardboard.
Or without anything really

imagine if instead of just throwing all the magazines in a pile like a 5 year old you simply stacked them neatly inside of a bag or literally anything that holds stuff. 😮

I have one of these and once had it full but ironically now the mags are in my gun, plate carrier, and bug out bag

Or be cheap and use a backpack without foam. That way I can put my bag on and have 2 hands on my rifle instead of just 1. Everytime you go range use those mags and rotate the new mags in the bag for next time. Simple and wont cost you anything unless you dont have a spare bag
