Today we took a huge step towards fulfilling a goal I have had for a long time... racing King of the Hammers. KOH is an Ultra4 desert race that takes place in Johnson Valley, CA. In today's video we moved everything we need to build this stock 1998 Jeep Cherokee into a 4600 class race car, with that Jeep towing a trailer with all it's new parts for the build. The race is in less than a month and we have a lot of work ahead of us. Man am I excited!

Thanks for watching!

Love Janelle's attitude about driving and the "Let's go!".

I foresee a lot of chaos going down around you in the lead up to the race. Make sure to find a nice quiet spot for filming and where you won't be stopped every 5 minutes for a chat! Can't wait to see this come together.

It is amazing to watch just how capable a stock Jeep Cherokee really is off road and to pull that trailer all the way with no major issues. Jeep should have never stopped making the Cherokee, just think if they would have come out with a Rubicon model.

I live in the High Desert. Anything that cant get dirty during the build keep in the trailer. You will have wind most of the time which equals Sand in everything. Have fun on your adventure.

Janelle, please do not give up your Paramedic training, maybe become trained for off road races
Looking forward to this series. 😊😊😊😊

Of all the things you have done- and I have watched you since you were part of MORR- THIS is the best idea and a true adventure. Keep making more content like this!

"I'm worried because we are out of gas and it's a long walk"...son like father/father like son? lol...Sounded just like your dad :P love it! It's awesome to show just how capable those old Jeeps were. I've owned 2 and regret to this day letting them go :( ... Had a 1991 Cherokee and a 1994 5spd Cherokee. Miss both of them.

Zach !
The next time you are accosted by crazy people asking for cash at a scary gas station, when you see them approaching all you have to do is walk towards them and before they get a chance to say anything, ask them if you can have a dollar.
They get confused and go away. 😉

Glad to see you are towing your camper with a big ol' honkin' Dodge and not the Cherokee when I first saw you move the thing. I could see the strain in the headlights of the Jeep!
