Soft washing with a foam cannon

Here’s a short video will kind a short video of me soft washing the side of my house with a foam cannon. I made this video because I was experimenting with the foam cannon while I await the rest of the parts for my trailer build for my soft washing set up. I wanted to make this video to show that you can still do things even though you don’t have the exact equipment you want you can make do with what you can afford. I would also soak any vegetation with fresh water before applying any chemicals to the house! Then rinse very well after cleaning the house. That 10% bleach will fry it! I’ve read numerous times that the ratio for 10% bleach is 7 gallons water to 1 gallon bleach and then add dawn or whatever soap you want for the surfactant. Good luck and hopefully this helps!

You probably could cut the soap back to reduce the rinse. The x jet is the same principle but with a larger container and metering tips for the pickup tube.

i am no expert on such cleaning but apparently the Xjet is a real good investment for 45 bucks . But this video proves you could alos get away with a foam cannon if need be .

Make sure you have the correct nozzle when you rinse

Bleach needs at least 20-30 minutes dwell time, siding maybe not that long, as long as you can keep it wet and let it keep working you should get good results.

When you use this foam cannon what do you do with your soap siphoning hose do you just leave it hanging or do you need to plug it up I don’t understand what to do with the siphoning hose
