✈️ Hobby Master 1:72 Air Power Series HA3510
2011 marked the 100th anniversary of US Naval Aviation. To celebrate the occasion, numerous active Naval aircraft were repainted in eye-catching schemes and exhibited at military events throught the US. Many aircraft were painted in retro-style schemes mostly from the WWII era, while others were painted in more modern schemes. F-18C #163733 from VFA-122 based at NAS Lemoore in California has been given a three-tone blue/grey scheme. This tricolor finish represents that of a WWII carrier-based Hellcat unit from 1944 - 1945.
Today's example is from Hobby Master. It is 1/72nd scale and made of diecast with plastic accessories. The model is of the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C Hornet USN VFA-122 Flying Eagles, NAS Lemoore, CA, USN Aviation Centennial 2011.

All images/and or footage used with in my videos are owned by their original creators and are only used for a reference guide for viewers to compare against the model depicted in the video. The use of any images or video in any of my reviews is also used out of pure respect in regard to units and/or actual people. I wish to acknowledge all those that have served past and present with their respective nations armed forces with some making the ultimate sacrifice. Political ideals aside, it takes great courage and selflessness to answer your countries call. Thank you.
Cheers
