When I first visited the Mirage shortly after it opened, I was totally amazed. There was absolutely nothing like it anywhere and to have been able to build it in a desert, made it even more impressive. Steve Wynn in a visionary genius and if there are better words in the English language, he is that as well. /// Who else did what he did? You can not count Excalibur nor Luxor because they were intended to be Medieval and Egyptian themed resorts. Bob Stupak is the closest one, having built Vegas World and then, rebuilding it into the Stratosphere - Strat. However, that was Stupak's one and only property. So, Steve Wynn is really one-of-a-kind. Yeah, I like to see him build some more properties, but he is now 78 years old. So, probably only one or two more are possible.

Put Steve Wynn back in Vegas. He has had great success and nothing but positive success. He is not white privilege, incase people start throwing that in, he is about what is good for Vegas. He brought class to downtown with the Golden Nugget. It was clean, beautiful, and he also had machines that kept track of your play for free dinners, etc., This was the beginning of destination Casino Hotels. Vegas owes much to Steve Wynn

I love Steve Wynn, that man is a true visionary. All of the casinos that he has had a hand in creating are iconic and trend setting. Maybe with the exception of Treasure Island lol, but when Wynn built TI, it had a first ever free pirate show in front of the hotel. It was definitely an attraction to see, unfortunately new management did away with the show. I do hope that Steve Wynn has one more ace in hand, but he is getting long in the tooth, and Vegas did turn it's back on him.
