My father was a Grey Rider, Troop B, out of Malone. All their horses' names began with a "B." Daddy's favorite was Bess. I have pictures of daddy on Bess, on the pistol range, and knee-deep in Adirondack snow, jodburs, puttees, bandolier, and fur hat. I loved this documentary. Thank you, PBS!
