Good reaction, Rob! From the 1:50 mark, I believe this is one of her best-ever performances. 🔥🔥 You can see the sense of wonderment and awe in the faces of the judges from about the halfway point and on. That she was only 12-years old is mind-boggling. I'm really looking forward to Courtz' release of original music in the coming few months! 🙏🤩🎵

I feel sorry for those who do not see the emotions she feels and puts into her performances. She feels and emotes these feelings. She is a wonderment that will be heard.

Thank you for reacting to this song Rob. It’s one of my favorites of Courtney’s songs and it is so under represented among the reactions to her music.

You really need to take a close look at the comment by ‘ccrume2009’ because he gives a word by word quote of the judges reaction to this performance and how absolutely impressed they were by Courtney, not only in this song, but in all of Courtney’s performances throughout the competition. I have often said that if the voting in the finals had remained in the judges hands, Courtney would have won.

The best thing about this song is that you Get to see Courtney go ‘full Courtney’ and there is no more beautiful musical moment than that. There was no other contestant, or singer in general of any age, that could have even dreamed about doing what Courtney was able to do with both this song and performance. It was electrifying.

This was from the live finals, 3 years ago on 7/16/17. Courtney performed first which probably didn't help in the voting. The video above doesn't show the judges' comments afterwards (these are from memory and abridged). Pixie: I'm speechless. Oh my gosh Courtney, are you kidding? Hostess: She's so NOT kidding. Pixie: Where does that come from? Whatever it is that you do, that can't be taught. And when you throw the mic stand like that it just pushes you even further. Will: The bar was here...you raised it, I can't even see the bar. The point is, I can't wait to hear a Courtney song. If you're putting that much emotion and energy into someone else's words when you're singing your songs...I can't wait, you're amazing. Another under reacted performance is Courtney 's AGT final ' River Deep, Mountain High ' s Tina Turner song. Holding back a tad on both of these final performances would have gotten her more votes. Sometimes less is more.
