Watch the magic evolve as I create 2D and 3D assets in Aseprite, Photoshop and MagicVoxel for my Indie Unity game. We will catch em all, em being all the cyborgs of the wasteland!! This episode, I show you all the new levels I have been working on.

This is the story of my indie game development of Wasteland Warden. Watch me toil away at this 2.5D team gathering tactical grid based RPG and bring its post apocalyptic setting to life. As a solo developer with only a programming background, there is lots to learn and share. I am using Unity and C#, and low resolution pixel art in aseprite as well as 3D elements in Blender.

Woah it’s looking good! I love seeing other game devs attempting the 2.5D concept. This is a really cool way of doing that way different from my game.

The desert level with the props looks really amazing. Infact all the levels are really eye catching

I don't like that much of a tile based games. But, style and aesthetic of the game looks amazing. I really like it.

Instead of day, to night, to day maybe make tier 3 have a reddish tinted day. Or make a darker night. Day to night to day kind of makes it feel like its back to the same area as before.

Heres ideas instead of sewer. Crypt, Caves, Worm tunnels, Beetle lair, sunken oasis, Tomb, could be Egyptian themed. Camel graveyard, Cavern with ancient buried city etc. Might work better than a sewer.

Maybe you could defuse the border of the shadows so they don't look jagged
