Jurassic Park III - Spinosaurus Sound Effects

First off I'm gonna say trying to make the intro took way longer than it should have, but that's probably mostly because I'm a stupid and procrastinate too much.

I've technically had this in the works for at least 2 or 3 years, but I shelved it several times and only just recently decided to get it finished. As always, I've included nearly all the sounds as they are heard in the film, minus a few that are exact repeats and I've done the best I can to remove background noise. I have them in chronological order beginning after the little intro, minus the sounds in the intro to avoid repetitive sounds of course. I hope you enjoy and find these useful!

The roar at 1:19 and 1:51 are by far some of my favorite of all JP/JW saga, I think that they are even better than T-Rex one, even if they're shorter, you can actually feel Spino's wrath on his roars

This truly fits spinosaurus’ extremely aggressive attitude. The roars sound so enraged, like a child taking out their anger on a toy.

0:13 Just hearing that from a distance is the stuff of nightmares. Literally the scariest sounding dinosaur in JP/JW lore. If I heard that from a distance I'd be shitting bricks lol 😅

One of the reasons I now show favoritism to Spino over I-Rex. The sounds it made were much scarier. Plus, I-Rex was too much of a genetically altered jumble.

1:07 is after he kills the T-Rex, I keep replaying that one because how awesome it sounds

2:26 sounded like a growl of frustration, its probably one of my favourite roars from this beast. It kinda gives it more personality because it was a really vengeful creature and kept chasing humans down with failure each time. It only really caught Nash but the others he still wanted. When he was in the river, that roar just shows how annoyed it was of failing to catch all of them. That was really cool.

Its roar is rough and loud like an old race car with a hint of hissing like a snake which really fits well with the Spino and I love it

Beautifully arranged sound effect for the Spinosaurus. It truly does bring out the "sounds bigger" feeling that Dr. Alan Grant refers to.
