Ekman-Larsson is overlooked. Scrap Carlsson, Hoglander and Zetterlund. Sweden will need experienced high power forwards like Arvidsson, Rakell, Jarnkrok and Janmark to shut down Canada.

As a Swede, I would say that the forward side looks the weakest. I had removed Elias and brought Backlund instead. Elias has lost it completely. A healthy Landeskog had been given but is unfortunately still out of action.

If I had been the leader of Sweden, the line-up would look like this

Our forward-group is the weakest we have had in a long time. Especially since Landeskog is injured and both Elias P and Mika Z are not playing good hockey at the moment. If they don't step up I think Sweden will have zero chance to win this tournament. 😒
And yeah, Joel E-E needs to be in the third line, at least. And Backlund should make the roster.

Agree, Höglander isnt on the team but Brodin is, Andersson I doubt. Broberg is the dark horse

Brodin is a lock. Get rid of karlsson. Also Ekman-larsson has been stellar. Id put backlund or rakell instead of höglander

Kempe was so bad in last world championships and must be sidelined.Marcus Johansson was really good though and Janmark should also make the team.Perfect players for a 4th line.
