I've been hoping for another film. Really liked the idea of the story where Hemsworth would return. Would be great if they went back to that.

Love the Star Trek movies with Chris Pine and the cast. Star Trek Into Darkness is great. They should do 2 more Star Trek movies with Chris Pine and his cast. And then do 7 movies with all new actors and actress for Star Trek Next Generation. After Star Trek Next Generation movies. They should do Star Trek Deep space Nine movies Star Trek Voyager movies Star Trek Enterprise Star Trek Discovery movies Star Trek Strange New Worlds movies and Star Trek Picard. Star Trek used to be big and now it feels like its going down hill. If they made movies about the other shows like they did with Star Trek Origins Star Trek would go back to being popular again.

The cast is awesome, it was so well cast - I don't think Anton should be recast, I think they've got Sofia Boutella's Jay'La character. I think out of all the franchises, you can genuinely do anything with Star Trek - I think its such a broad canvas to paint in that you can do Pine Trek and something else as well as all of the new shows coming out.

It would be good to see a lower budget Trek movie with this cast, I think Beyond is a good template for a new Trek movie too - something that is fresh and new but in the spirit of Star Trek

The Nexus (from Generations) coming back with a younger Guinan could be interesting. Maybe Kirk is going there looking for his dad to literally & metaphorically find himself (a purgatory Shatner Kirk). A Kirk & Kirk team up would be the most Kirk thing ever IMO

Get Garth Edwards to do it make another trilogy if the first one does well

If they do it... the sub plot should be a new crew coming up and replacing Pines crew...

From there if it is successfully you could spin off more movies or a new "Kelvin timeline" series

Why not? He’s got nothing else going on. The DCU is dead. Dungeons and Dragons is dead. Jack Ryan is dead. None of his non-franchise movies are hits.
