Hey! My name is Nikolay Nikolaev, 23 y.o. and with all the crazy things going on around the world right now, the worldwide lockdown, etc.. I decided to lock myself up in the studio and finally cover my all - time favorite song – “Octavarium” by my all – time favorite musicians and band – “Dream Theater”. Found this amazing suite when I was 14 and dreamed that one day I’d be able to play it.
During the lockdown I decided to finally realize this project. This goes to my 14 y.o. me, to John Petrucci, John Myung, Jordan Rudess, James Labrie and my childhood hero – Mike Portnoy! Thank you for giving us such an amazing music!
