Too many "fixed later in fitmware" and shortcuts.

After you reach V1, it's customary to take your hand off the thrust levers. Because once you're at V1, if you have an engine failure you keep going, rotate and takeoff. Keeping your hand on the levers might cause you to abort and pull the levers back and run out of runway.

Good video. Btw, the autobrake selector isn't really a "Boeing style" autobrake, it's actually the selector from the A380 and A350, which is a rotational knob including the 'BTV' setting (like on the Thrustmaster).

I just got the captains pack and stoked that you can buy the add-on later, Since im just a gamer who likes flying in VR its a good way to see if im still flying alot after a month and if yes buy the add on!

Those buttons on left and right of the engine mode selector are indicators in the real airbus. They can show "FIRE" and "FAULT".

Wow, lot of problems with this add-on (set), i was going to get the thrustmaster throttle and stick...i have now crossed this entire product off my to-get list. Thanks for the video, you really do a good job with this and helped me make my decision once and for all. I can see this just collecting dust and taking up space. I'm not going to get taken again by sloppy and cheap products and I thank you SOOO much!

5:14 you have to use FS2020 ON-PRESS / ON-RELEASE options on the binding to make the Engine mode switch work between NORM and IGNITION. The same works for the parking break ON/OFF.

Why didn't they just design the speed brake lever with a hump at the end? So that we could just push the lever gently to the front to arm the speed brakes (like reverse thrust on Saitek throttle quadrant but for the speed brakes)

Just bought this, and was somewhat mildly bemused, kind of 50-50 about it. The switches besides the levers felt very flimsy.
So far, you are one of the best reviewers here, pointing out the things other simmer often missed: that flap lever action (lift button to move it between gates).
Plus, why the Airbus A350-style autobrake switch? Ain't no flight sim in this world got that BTV function simulated.

I get the Thrustmaster Airbus Throttle Quadrant and the Saitek Switch panel with the 3x Lights when the Gear is down all green befor Red i am happy with this the Add On Flap and Speedbreak levlers i dont need.

Hi, are the issues you mentions in msfs fixed now? I'm thinking of buying one. 🤔 Are any of the throttle-related issues still not fixed? Such as the eng 1 and 2 start switches, park break and speed break delay etc. Unfortunately in my country, the captain's edition costs around 450usd so I just want to be sure these issues are fixed before purchasing.
