With the founding of the Empire of the Christmas tree decoration was unusual. So there was glass spheres with elaborate painting or with patterns (for example, Christmas trees), which was generated by a pasting with mica. The glass blowers were also refined their craft and not only gave simple spheres but formed from a wide variety of figures and shapes. For this, the still hot and soft glass beads were pressed into shape pliers in order to produce, for example, apples, grapes, pears, plums, acorns, pine cones, nuts or birds. In addition, special specimens were prepared as angels with trumpets and movable wings of glass.
