For those discuss whether legal or not: "Intention and Control: The rules require that the baton be passed directly from hand to hand. If the baton slips unintentionally and is momentarily juggled but quickly secured without leaving the exchange zone, this is generally allowed. The intention is not to penalize a team for an accidental juggle as long as the baton is not thrown or dropped outside the exchange zone."
