If this happens when you install a new plugin or you upgraded to new Wordpress.

1. Login into Cpanel
2. Find the incompatible plugin
3. Follow the video
3. Remove or rename the plugin
3. Rename it

If all doesn't work try to debug your Wordpress

Last option is to restore last working backup. Do not upgrade Wordpress first. Wait for your plugin developer to support for latest Wordpress version.

Restore or change the Php version. The website would have been done in a older version where it has older plugins.

I was facing this issue, but I was also able to access my dashboard on WordPress. So I just uninstalled the plugin which was causing the problem. Will it solve the issue?

I tried this on mine and no joy, I also tried turning the theme off through the file manager. My site was working two days ago and I haven't touched it at all since then, went to log in this morning and got this error. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks.

Edit: I fixed it. If it helps anybody with the same issue I edited my wp-config.php file to turn on debug mode (look for the line "define( 'WP_DEBUG', false );" and change false to true). Reload your site and you should see the exact problem. In my case I had the error "failed to open stream: No such file or directory in on line 178".

I opened up wp-settings.php and on line 178 WordPress was calling on a php file in my root/wp-includes folder, post.php to be exact. The file was missing, apparently it just deleted itself and I have no idea why. Anyway I just re-uploaded the missing file using filezilla and everything worked as normal. Just remember to turn debug off after.

Howtoos, this is spot-on! Found WordFence plugin being the offender on numerous sites I take care of. Rename, and regain access to site. Downside is: SITES ARE NOW VULNERABLE to hacking.... Hope they get it fixed soon.
