Authorities took no one into custody when this occurred. Is the investigation still ongoing at this time? So… is the driver NOT going to be charged with vehicular manslaughter? I really hope his family receives justice.

People drive stupid these days. It aint a fluke if you see it everyday. Driving wrong way lane to go around traffic, turning right in a lane meant to go straight and almost hitting a car thst has the option to go right or straight . Dum phux

Most of the time *cutting corners* will not result in injury or DEATH. But if you GAMBLE long enough you're going to eventually LOSE. Caltrans takes RISKS with people's LIVES to keep within their budgets.

I hate to be this guy, but a lot of those folks jump right out of their vehicles without even checking streets as well. + Yes they wear reflective vest but these days you need like a strobe on your feet like ankle area and it doesn't have to be bright. It could be bright enough like a red strobe or even a yellow dull. One things like that go a long way and in this world you have to meet halfway. Can't just be one person looking out for your existence
