Ramadan Mubarak everyone. As you all know that Talbina is a sunnah meal and a Prophetic Medicine. There are so many benefits of it.
According to our beloved Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam, Talbina soothes the heart and removes sorrow and grief.
Ingredients:
Barley (jau) 1 cup
(washed and soaked for 2-3 hours or overnight)
Water 1 cup
Dates (khajoor) 6-8 (deseeded)
Milk (doodh) 5 cups
Almonds (badaam) 2 tbspns
Pistachios (pista) 2 tbspns
Honey
Method:
Add barley, dates, water and 3 cups of milk in a pan. let it boil. Cover half lid and cook on low flame for 40 minutes or till barley is cooked.
Now blend it well. Add 2 cups of milk, mix very well. Then add almonds and pistachios. Mix and cook for a minute. Put it off.
Garnish with almonds, pistachios and drizzle honey on top. Enjoy 👍
