I rarely use orange as a primary tie dye color, but I stepped out of my comfort zone and made an orange geode shirt - and I love it! I show and explain the entire process that I used to create the shirt.

Beautiful example of geode pattern, and the colors make me think of the strata of layers of rock. I use orange some, but mostly I lean toward cool colors. But this example tells me it's good to branch out and get out of my comfort zone!

I use deep orange in my camo shirts that I make for my guy friends. The browns and dark greens really add to the depth of my shirts and then I'll add some kind of yellow to make it pop. The browns split into different cool colors. I love your shirt. It's a big WOW from me:)

I like this one a lot. The colors match so well and mixed in with the earth tones of tan and brown even makes it better. Personally the geode shirt you did with the reds and blacks along with some oranges and yellows is my favorite, but this one is quite good looking too.

Terrific geode! I've used orange primarily with black and I think I've used purple too doing spirals and they've come out nice. Yellow is another good color if you don't mind risking a jack-o-lantern look :)

I’m with you on using orange and yellow. I like them a lot on flower mandalas, but I think orange is too much of an “in your face” kind of color. It walks into the room before you do. Lol. I do like this shirt for the fall.

So pretty Angie! I don’t use orange or yellow too much either. I’m more of a shiitake, blues, greens, purple tones dyer. Lol but I have been playing around with salmon lately. It really provides a nice balance with splitting a yellow/pink/orange combo. It’s funny because I really like earthy ones but I hardly ever dye anything to reflect that lol.

I accidentally bought 3 shirts that weren't enough percent cotton so im just doing some throwaway stuff! But after that I'm going to try an ice dyed geode shirt. Neither of which I've ever tried.🤞 Even if I mess it up, there's really no such thing as a bad tie dye anyway 🤔
