Grew up on a farm, lifted weights during my time in the military and that strength was nothing compared to my strength growing up on the farm. My grandpa and dad are still some of the strongest men I’ve ever met or seen. I honestly don’t know how to explain the difference between weight lifting strength and just plain ole working strength.

I worked on a farm for two summers when I was a teenager. Up at 3:30 am to milk the cows, then at 6 breakfast, then humped all day. I never worked so hard in my life. People who farm, family farms, are the hardest working people you ever saw. 7 days a week 365 days a year. At 18 I spent 4 years in the army ( one tour Vietnam 68-69) and then worked construction all my life. That still wasn’t anywhere near how I broke my ass farming those two summers. My hat off to anyone that family farms out there. You guys are unsung heroes. People have no idea the work you put in so we can have the things we have. Thank you for what you do and what you provide. 👏👏

I'm a big dude, 6'3 230lbs, and used to lift weights when I was younger. I had a friend who was a farm boy, never hit the gym, but his strength eclipsed mine easily. That's when I learned that farmers are just built different.
