That bag turned out fantastic brother! This is the first chance I've had to sit and watch this video all the way through...I greatly, greatly appreciate your shout out and comments at the end man. You're pure class from top to bottom in my book bub. Now if only I could catch up to you on some out doors skills lol. I'm gonna bang out that bow drill challenge soon. Never done primitive fire but I've wanted to for a long time now...now I don't have a choice per your challenge lol.

Yet another AWESOME project! Looks great. Could you add a couple of loops to the back of the sack to tuck your 'hawk handle through? Maybe a couple of attachment points in-line with the shoulder/chest strap for a small knife sheath?

Nice Haversack. I am in the process of making my own, and am unsure of the type of leather that I want to use. I have some veg-tanned 8-9 oz, but am thinking it will be too stiff for the bag. You mentioned that you were using buffalo hide, and I assume it was oil tanned because it looks less stiff. I have been making knife sheaths, wallets, etc with the veg tanned. Your haversack looks awsome! I like the copper rivies you used. Gives it a good look.
