2012 Tesla started executing the SuperCharger network masterplan, today no one can touch them. 2020 Tesla is doing again with 4680 battery roadmap. They will own the catbird seat in battery cost, sourcing, scale, engineering/design. Everyone except the Chinese will be 5 yrs behind Tesla.

People keep calling the EV technology company Tesla a car company. Tesla is a battery maker. Tesla isn't competition for Ford, Tesla is Ford's future business daddy that they buy technology from.
