Victor Davis Hanson contrasts Trump's refusal to prosecute his political enemies with the Left's weaponisation of the justice system.

Victor Davis Hanson is the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow in Residence in Classics and Military History at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. He is a nationally syndicated columnist and has written many books on ancient and modern warfare. His most recent books are The End of Everything: How Wars Descend into Annihilation and The Case for Trump: 2024 Edition.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Conversations feature John Anderson, former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, interviewing the world's foremost thought leaders about today's pressing social, cultural and political issues.

John believes proper, robust dialogue is necessary if we are to maintain our social strength and cohesion. As he puts it; "You cannot get good public policy out of a bad public debate."

Release the Epstein and Diddy lists. That will get everyone's attention.

Thank you VDH. You are the best source of information online. We don't care what the elites think, they don't care about the regular American. MAGA ❤

They could never pull this off. More than half the country voted for him.

Trump must go after legal double standards. Not retribution but accountability.

Honestly if they try to put him in prison before he's sworn in as president then the federal government should declare New York as an insurrectionist state pure and simple.

The American people just weighed in on these political prosecutions.

Sooner or later the judges in charges of this lawfare should end each case. Most of them have demonstrated that they are more interested in politics than in the law. If they don't "turn honest" on their own, perhaps the appeals judges (federal & state) will do their jobs.

Lacking that, the SCOTUS should step in and call a spade a spade.

They have their teeth drawn after Trump. He needs to be very aware. Surround him with prayer, people.

At this point the democrats should be more worried about the tide turning on the use of lawfare.

Its very sad but there is only one way that threats like this are removed from a society, and it is not pleasant.

I don't claim to know the legal terms for this, but I feel getting elected after being charged is basically a "Public Pardon"

So who would really TRY to imprison the President? With over half the country voting for him, YOU have to understand that would be a good reason to actually have an Insurrection, right??

No. Election interference lawfare against presidential immunity.

My concern is for President Trump’s health especially over the next 77 days. With the promised changes that are coming which will wreck the Dem’s bureaucratic playpens. They are in freak out mode. I don’t doubt there will be another attempt on his life! Pray he survives!

Thank you Mr. Anderson. The truth is, both sides of the American political parties could stand a large dose of humility.

This is now just blue-a-non cope if they think they are going to lock him up.
