To multiply polynomials, you just separate the two values (the variable and the number), and multiply them by the polynomial separately. Finally, you add or subtract them to or from each other.

The easiest way to multiply polynomials, of course, is to get them wet. But then you just have to be really careful not to feed them after midnight.
