How to play funk guitar. So you're playing in a band and its the sax solo or keyboard solo. Here's a simple chord vamp that doesn't fill up too much space. Believe me , your other musician friends will love you for it. Keeping it really simple but staying out of the way giving other musicians room but still helping the groove is essential.

I think this is important - what pick do you use? Your attack is really interesting because it isn't scratchy or percussive at all. Not sure if that's pick, pedals (is there compressor) or player!
