Voldy's Family Reunion

I discuss each known member of the House of Gaunt through the ages. Starting with the family history rooted in Salazar Slytherin and the Peverell brother Cadmus. This also includes how Dumbledore, then Harry Potter came to be in possession of the resurrection stone. From there we will hear the history of how the American wizarding school, Ilvermourny was founded and the Infamous legacy of Gormlaith Gaunt. We will continue through family history though the life of Voldemort and the end of the Gaunt line.

All information is from the main Harry Potter book series, Wizarding World, and transcript & interview reading.

No one talks enough about how Tom Riddle’s father was raped by his mother, he displayed many traits of being a victim like how he ran away after the potion wore off and how shocked and angry he was. Crazy how “normalized” the usage of love potions by female witches are even in the movies when female students were so obsessed with using love potions, the severity of their action was never really emphasized

So you know how Isolt created Chadwick and Webster’s wand from the shaving of a horned serpent’s horn. In another reference I came across while researching basilisks I found that the horn of a basilisk could be shaved and made into a wand core. Isolt was descended from the Gaunt line which meant she probably possessed the ability to speak parseltongue and though Basilisks can’t be domesticated entirely they will listen to a parselmouth. Is it possible that it could have been a basilisk which gave her the shavings for her sons’ wands?
