What is durable power of attorney?

Durable power of attorney allows you to dictate who you want to control your assets in the case you become incapacitated or otherwise unable to control finances. It’s really important that you have this because without it, technically no one can manage your finances. With durable power of attorney, that person could talk to your banks, manage loans or businesses, and do any number of things in your name while you’re unable to.
