The View Range dialog looks complicated but most of the time what you need to set is simple.

- In plan view, adjust Cut Plane and Bottom values.

- In ceiling view, adjust Cut Plane and Top values.

- Set the view depth to the same value as Bottom in plan view and Top in ceiling view.

That's it really. For 90% users, that's all you need to know.

Notice:
The Line Style of elements between the Bottom plane and View Depth plane is shown i the “Beyond” Line Style.
Very few notice this because "Beyond" by default is set to Solid Line...

sorry im confused, if anything below the cut plane and above the bottom plane is to be displayed, why does the left window disappear when u bring it below the cut plane?

Why is it not working if we keep view depth to 0 it should work with aswell right

Hey Nice your section view the Top & Section Plane are visible so you can clearly see your view range, how do you make this visible in a section view?
