Am 58 retiring next year but the thought of retirement gives me weakness. My apologies to everyone who have retired and filing social security during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you never imagined to happen. It’s so difficult for people who are retired and have no savings or loved ones to fall back on.

Considering the current market uncertainty, it seems prudent to invest in gold or a gold ETF. I'm thinking of allocating over $300k for retirement purposes. While the potential for short-term gains in a bullish market is appealing, I recognize the importance of maintaining a long-term investment strategy.

I’m so tired of these people calling in with I’m so broke I haven’t started investing, what do I do? When they literally have $189, 000 in stock, on $400, 000 of land on 13 acres with cabins and are a retired 36 year school teacher with a pension with 2 other means of income. They are acting like they’re all broke because they haven’t invested since age 16. Get over yourself you’re literally sitting on a net worth over $1 million completely taken care of for the rest of your life with a pension and you have the audacity to call into the show acting like the other common person broke at age 60??? What is wrong with these people? Your entire life is set and you’re calling into the show. Get over yourself. Some of us are actually age 50-60 and actually living off $30k a year with no net worth and no pension with real problems.

What are the best strategies to protect my portfolio? I've heard that a downturn will devastate the financial market, so I'm concerned about my $200k stock portfolio..

Nobody can become financially successful over night. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals.

I'm in my 50s and I'm more interested in investments that could set me up for retirement, I mean I've heard of people that netted hundreds of thousands during these crash, I listened to someone on a podcast who earned over $650K in less than a year, what's the strategy behind such returns?

I'm 71 years old and I still do a paper route six nights a week. People who keep working tend to live longer and stay healthier longer, both physically and mentally. Alzheimer's is caused by not using your brain - which happens when you sit around doing nothing after you retire

I was told to spread my money across different things like stocks and bonds to protect my $750k retirement savings. Now, with the markets being shaky, should I keep adding money to my portfolio or consider other options?

My grandad retired in 1997 at 58yrs old. He’s 84 now and still thriving on his 401k investments. He stayed in the market and kept learning. As John Bogle said, “stay the course”

There is so much to having financial knowledge. They should cover this stuff in high school. I was only taught a little about a checking account in the 70's.

As a 50yr old who really is just now starting to invest, I was very disappointed in this kind of click bait. It was not helpful or amusing.

I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying it's ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point

Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $274, 800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and get more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.
