Workshop/ Introduction to VOGUE Hands Performance by one and only Teddy Ong

Sole To Soul Dance Studio will be hosting the first in a series of Teddy's Voguing Workshops this coming September on Saturday, September 9th. Made popular in mainstream channels by the likes of Madonna (“Strike a pose!”) and the classic documentary Paris is Burning (1990), voguing is characterized by model-like poses integrated with angular, linear and rigid arm, leg and body movements. This workshop will introduce you to one of the key elements of voguing - hands performance, as well as how to be confident and yourself on the runway..

No experience of dancing necessary.

This is fabulous! I live in a Nursing Home, and a great deal of the time, the performers who come in to Entertain are Karaoke Artists ... and when they play lots of exciting Dance Music (as was the case yesterday), people get up and DANCE!
It is very popular here, as you might imagine!
I am not able to "get up" and dance, really, but I LOVE the idea of VOGUING!
It is perfect!
And this video gives me SO many ideas!
