as a full-stack dev I NEVER EVER allow infinte scrolling in my app.
I had a couple businnes clients who wanted infinite scrolling in their dashboards (they said "it's trendy and modern" LOL).
I talked one of them into reason. I dropped the other customer.

Freaking doomers, lol.
I get it, it's a new source of addiction, but people need to keep some level of accountability for their own actions. It's not that you can't stop, you just don't want to stop.
