Yeah, that really is true for Ava. I(personally) think that she feels like its her fault for trusting when she knows that she'll be betrayed, that its her fault for never going outside and making friends, its her fault she doesn't have a job, its her fault for helping them, its her fault she sleeps so much, its her fault Mrs Oats think they're together. I think she doesn't blame them, but she blames herself. She is a double bladed sword, she lives and protects herself, being able to defend herself against others, but at the end of the day. She is her greatest enemy. She is the one person she has no other choice to see. She is her biggest problem. She is stuck with a person she both loves and hates for the rest of her life, no matter what she does. It's bittersweet, really. The series in general is bittersweet. Because while yes, there were a LOT of funny, cute, and silly moments in My Inner Demons, but the higher a person makes you fly, the more it hurts when you fall. Aphmau's series does a spectacular job at pulling people's heartstrings. Mystreet, Phoenix Drop High, Falcon Claw University, Minecraft diaries, The Void, My Inner Demons, all of it. Also, I just now noticed, but would you pay attention to the Title of the series? 'My Inner Demons' of course, this is probably refering to Daemos being similar to Demons, but My INNER Demons? Honestly, that could mean so many things really. Ava is a whole new character in a whole new series. Unlike Aphmau, who has been the main character of all Of Jess's series up until that point, Ava and Aphmau are clearly different. Aphmau, while shy in Phoenix Drop High, is pretty good with people, which is why there are SO many characters, Ava is not. Ava is nice when she wants to be, but her first impressions are clearly not the best when it comes down to people. Which she was never able to leave her old crowd from high school, so they all thought she was just stuck up. Ava takes pleasure in spending with people as you can tell later in the series when she hangs out with the boys, but she clearly has some trust issues. Aphmau enjoys cute and cuddly things just like Ava, but for most of the seasons Aphmau's main pet was a Dog while Ava's is a Cat. Aphmau, shown in both Mystreet and Minecraft Diaries, is mature when necessary and she can take leadership. Ava however is immature and makes impulsive choices around the boys and she isn't a really GOOD leader. She's a leader, but not a good one. I'm excited to see what My Inner Demons season 2 has in store. We got a LOT of character development for all of them, but I'm most excited to see how Ava takes all of it. Sure, she treated the boys better, but she never developed herself. Their relationship developed, but she didn't as much as Asch or Leif or even Noi or Rhys.
I feel like "My Inner Demons" has many meanings.
For Ava, I feel like 'My Inner Demons' means that she's going to have to fight herself. She's going to have to attempt to adjust and figure out just who she is.
For Noi he's going to have to(as much as i hate it) swallow down his fear and start being braver.
For Leif he needs to face his past as a former assassin. He's just killing his problems temporarily. Not permanently.
For Rhys he's going to have to use his everything he has, and for once don't think logical, and to follow his heart instead of his brain.
For Pierce, I'm not too sure. We haven't gained too much about him. But I think it has something to do with him apparently looking similar Lady Grandma's Love. Maybe him and Asch were switched or are related, who knows?
For Asch, although its pretty obvious, he's going to have to swallow down his pride and he's going to have to use his head a lot.

Sorry for this rant, but I love My Inner Demons. And really Jess's series in general. Thank you if you read this, if not, I don't really mind.
