Sen. JD Vance vows to hold up Biden's DOJ nominees

Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, announced Tuesday that he will be putting a procedural hold on Department of Justice nominees in response to the prosecution of former President Donald Trump for allegedly mishandling national defense information.

Obstruction of justice, in United States jurisdictions, is an act that involves unduly influencing, impeding, or otherwise interfering with the justice system, especially the legal and procedural tasks of prosecutors, investigators, or other government officials. Common law jurisdictions other than the United States tend to use the wider offense of perverting the course of justice. Furthermore the GOP, including Ron DeSantis and his republican supporters in Florida should and must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. ⚔
