I love how respectful he was with her with her physical personal space. And still, he got down on her level so he could listen to her better. And he spoke with her like she was smart.

When my kids were about this age we went out to dinner. At a table next to us the elderly gentlemen greatly looked the image of Santa. The kids peeked at him throughout the meal. Then asked if they could say hi. That elderly gentleman's face lit up when they went over to his table & he played the role so well we knew he'd done it countless times. My kids are in their late 30s now & have never forgotten that day.

You know i swear i watched a movie or two when i was a kid where Santa was just a regular guy who lived among us and if this isn't proof that they were right i don't know what is.

On second thought seeing this old man eagerly kneel knowing he couldn't easily get up just to make this kid's day is so heartwarming. Such a sacrifice he makes. Truly a kind person indeed.

man, his soft speech, getting on his knees with an injury so they could be on the same level, all his kind demeanor towards the girl are so so beautiful!! You could tell he was a little hurt at first but clearly put a big effort still to say all the right things, pausing sometimes to think about what he would say next not to ruin the magic of christmas for this lil baby. And just look how happy and proud she was that she was having a conversation with Santa, lol
