I hope everyone has an awesome day today! Do you plan on planting some new fruit trees in your garden this year? If so, what are you planning to plant?

I absolutely love this style of video. I’ve not seen many like it.

Great job Dan! I just came in from my garden. I planted more murasaki sweet potatoes and put 6 inches of mushroom compost and other soil amendments around one of my 17 year old fig trees. I am transitioning my existing orchard (peaches. Figs, pear and apple trees) into permaculture practices. In the back yard is my new first year food forest. At the end of the day my neighbor came over for a tour of my farm. End of another sweet gardening day.

Hi from Brisbane, Australia. Another inspiring and informative video. Your positive attitude and love of gardening always shines through Thank you. We are in the middle of our 'wet' season, hot and humid. Our beds are under a cover crop in preparation for sowing legumes and brassicas at the end of February. I have just planted a papaya, two moringa's and six leucaenas and planted some dandelions. Looking forward to some cooler and dryer weather. 👍👍👍

Self fertile almond tree! I learned something new! Will definitely be looking for one of those now. We wanted to do almonds but didn’t have space for 2 so thank you.

Have you looked into rare fig cultivars? Such as Black Madiera & Figo Preto etc? Best darn tasting figs!

I always love seeing the animals in someone ‘s garden. Are the doggies yours?

I've seen some varieties of fig take really well to coppicing and end up looking more shrubby with lots of suckers– might be an option for keeping it manageable and short!

Hi Dan!! I have a quick question regarding worms. Have you or do you use a worm bin or do you ever transplant worms directly into your garden?

From all the mulch you are putting down is your ground higher than the one beside yours

Are you collecting the wisteria seeds for a reason, or just so they won't geminate?

Hey dan, do you recommend cutting that asian pear down to half? I have a persimmon tree and its about 6 ft tall in the ground for a year but a skinny stem.
