I saw the gardening one as more of a way to indirectly explain things to the traveler, rather than hinting he's fake. However, we'll never know.

Me: wow this event is so satisfying. All the plots are addressed and make sense. We still have the impostor somewhere and probably another continuation but everything is okay because we know who is who. I just have to do this one last scene.
