People should stop using "accident." DWi and driving = negligent.

For those that don’t know, this was Mitch McConnell’s sister in law. Also a shipping billionaire. She mysteriously died and shortly after, he stepped down as house GOP senator

so.. she was wasted 3 times the legal limit, so too bombed to drive, thus ran the SUV into a pond and drowned.. in the middle of a private ranch....If she was that wasted, how did she DRIVE THERE?? To the middle of nowhere? Then back into the water?

To answer some questions below: why she drove at all, where the guest house was, who allowed her to drive, etc
According to some TV channel news I happened to watch the other day, she was hosting some friends on her ranch. The guests were staying in a house that the family uses for guests only. The accident happened after the party held in the guest house, when she decided to drive back to her house rather than walk. The distance between the houses, it was mentioned, was about 4 minute drive.

Uh. That's a little questionable. Didn't McConnell suddenly decide to retire? Maybe that was to help him decide to retire. . .

A 0.23 BAC is pretty pickled for someone her size, so who let her drive home like that?

How many times have you been behind the wheel while intoxicated? When it comes to driving intoxicated, dumb luck is the only difference between those who make it home safe and those who don’t.

Foremost Group CEO Angela Chao accidentally drove her car into a pond at a ranch the shipping executive owned with her husband, venture capitalist Jim Breyer. Chao took over the Foremost Group, a shipping company, from her father, James S.C. Chao, in 2018. As her sister, Ms. Elaine Chao’s family ties to the shipping company and her dealings in China raise ethical issues. 0:40

She was driving under intoxication when she drove her car into the water. Thank goodness no other person was affected

They murdered her. She knew something about something and they murdered her.

We need to cease calling this an accident when it was a clear violation of societal norms. Dunk driving needs to be condemned. Nobody is feeling sorry for Angela Chao here.
