My 12 year old son walked through as I was watching this video and stopped when he saw you talking about Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake and he was like "wait, does she mean an actual rake? Like what you rake leaves with? Why would she want to have a romance with that?" Girl I died. Then I had to explain to him what a rake was.

I just recently found an online store here in the Philippines that sells 2nd hand historical romances and now I've gone again and bought some from Sabrina Jeffries, Mary Jo Putney, Paula Quinn, Joanna Bourne, and Stephanie Laurens.

I'm currently reading Lisa Kleypas' Mine Til Midnight.

All of the Jude D. books are great! I need to pick up and read the twin's story again. Mind you, do read the velvet stories in order - I haven't read those in ... 28 years, but they were one of the first romances that I read. Actually, the first romance I read was Mountain Laurel. Happy reading! (I miss having time to read so much)

Connie Mason is awesome author .she wrote some regancy era romances and highland novels try Amanda Scott for some good scottish romances also
