It is far better but there is another major issue no one is talking about when you are in an album and you scroll up to see previous photos it closes the album AND if you want to open the album right away because you didn’t want to close it then it does nothing, you must wait a second or so to be able to open it again… But sometimes this behavior does not happen and I can scroll up within the album…It makes the photo app completely unusable and it happens on my iPhone and iPad, I am the only one with this ??

The only thing I don't like about the iPhone is the gallery app. Samsung's is much better thought out. I would have liked if I added a photo to an album it would be removed or I would have had the option to remove it from all photos.

Is it the same for pictures ? I just don’t like iOS 18 for this exact reason !

It seems that scrubbing video frame by frame is no longer possible in iOS 18… because iOS 18 actually downgraded its video playback to a traditional slider bar. Previously, the video slider would dynamically adjust to the duration, allowing me to scrub through the video frame by frame and take screenshots. But with iOS 18, the slider bar is now only as wide as the screen, making it very difficult to scrub frame by frame if the video is long.

Somehow, this feels like a step backward… While Android has now copied Apple’s old video player and allows frame-by-frame scrubbing, Apple has downgraded the feature and made it impossible to do so.
This makes me want to switch to Samsung as soon as possible because the video scrubbing feature is essential for my work as an editor

How did you get 18.2 it’s not available for me in the setting.!!!!?

They need to bloody fix audio accessibility for those countries that do not support hearing aid functionality. They ruined the custom transparency mode for those of us who can’t hear well, with iOS 18.1.
