'Cinq Melodies Populaires Grecques' by Ravel - Rachel Farago

For my finalist Music BA recital at the University of Sussex I performed a programme entitled "The Light and Shade of Love". Throughout music history, love has been a prominent theme that has inspired composers to create beautiful works. Love is not simply black and white, there are several shades to it; from secular and pure to dark and brooding, love is portrayed in inspiring and creative ways. My programme is comprised of songs that highlight these shades.
