Eskimo bowline. Woo-hoo, I'm finally in the 1%!!

that's a non slipped kalmyk loop, a slipped version of the eskimo bowline. The eskimo bowline is basically a bowline oriented (flipped) horizontally and it's more resistant on lateral loads if there's something pulling the strands from both sides

I always save these videos to my Google Keep when I think I can use them in the future.

This is not a bowline. If it's a variation please say what it is.
Would be also great if you would show the untying of the knot.

If you keep it tied exactly the same but shift the coils around a little to re-dress the knot you will see it is exactly the same as the Sheet Bend.

This is useful when we are going outside like adventure things with friends.

Я рекомендую последним действием в петлю засовывать не конец, а петлю от него, тогда можно будет развязать узел просто потянув за этот конец.

This is not the bowline I’ve learned. Still cool though. I like it.

Good reason 99% don’t know this “bowline”. It’s not a bowline. 😂

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW DO YOU TIE A KNOT THAT ON ONE END HAS A SUPER HEAVY LOAD THAT IS PULLED (STRESSED) THAT WILL CAUSE THE KNOT TO TIGHTEN TO THE POINT OF NOT GETTING IT LOSE ON THE OTHER SIDE OR OTHER END OF THE ROPE THAT IS CONNECTED TO HOOK. GETTING THE ROPE LOOSE FROM THE HOOK SIDE NOT THE LOAD SIDE ?

Казачий узел. Лучше чем классические английский и голландский.

I never know which loop to use... There are so many. Does anyone know somewhere that says when and where I should use each? I'm also pretty sure most loops should not even be used ever, since there are better ones in any circunstance.

I LEARNT IT FROM MY GRANDFATHER 50 YEARS AGO NAMED "KUN KÖTÉS" IN HUNGARIAN

This is one of the most basic bowlines; you just form it not like all normal people do, but through the аss (probably to confuse the viewer)

I tried this knot. It is a viable knot to tie, but why would you use this over a traditional bowline knot? Is there any gain, any reason to do so?

TheRooster

Neither do you.
That's not the bowline knot
