my ex-boyfriend’s mom did terracota tiles in the kitchen floor and just a heads up the most used areas of the kitchen aged from spills. it is super porous! after 20/30 years of wear half of the kitchen floor looked very different from the other half. still looked beautiful and earthy. probably wouldnt have noticed if she didnt bring it up

Girl, same thing happened to me! My parents were coming into town and the house we are moving into isn’t quite ready but they needed a place to stay, so I was literally diy renovating a bathroom and setting up a full guest bedroom for them the last 2 weeks to prep for them, and then a few days before they came my husband threw out his back and I had to do everything on my own… I was exhausted, and I’m not even pregnant! You are amazing, and your family is incredible to come and help!

The timing and the situation is obviously not ideal but I dothink everything happens for a reason and I think you will look back and cherish on this time.
