Daily Vlog #13: 3D Theory here! In this video, I talk about my tiny 3D printer farm of five Bambu Lab A1 3D printers. One of them has the AMS combo. I go ahead and I continue my production workflow of 3D printing PETG parts for my product, but I also brought back an old 3D model of mine that I 3D print and assemble in this video, which is called the Dark Throne, which is Darth Sidious's throne from Star Wars Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker. This design was designed by Ralph McQuarrie, and it's a phone holder that I've created from this throne design, so you can put your phone on there and enjoy it. If you want to download and 3D print this file and assemble it along, here is the Maker World link where you can download and print the file and assemble it along with the video. Join me on this daily vlog :)

Thank you for sharing your videos. I run the PETG straight out of the dryer instead of the spool holder. You get better results.

Those zits might be the seam. You can change seam settings and they'll all line up.

I have meant to share this for a while, but I was told by others when I first started printing last year to never use a metal scraper on a bed like the PEI because allegedly you could nick the bumps and damage the bed. So I went out and got "FOSHIO Plastic Razor Blade Scraper Include 2PCS Scraper Tool and 100PCS Blades for Gasket Remove" from Amazon and it has been perfect. I think I have had 1 print in my 3000+ hours of printing where I had to use something than those plastic scrapers to get it off.

Then again your prints stick CRAZY good compared to all of mine. What do you use for a bed temp with your gray PETG? I normally run my X1C w/ 65c and it sticks well and generally cools and releases eventually.

And you said it in one of your recent videos but I too like printing in PETG because I have kids. LOL. StrongHero3D and FlashForge have some fun colors like transparent rainbow and burnt titanium that are really awesome. I know that's not your focus in what you are printing, but I have been somewhat frustrated by the lack of fun colors and other effects in PETG filament so I wanted to pass it along.

I have been trying to print with Petg, I dried the crap out of it, I have my temps where I think they should be, and after the first layer it lifts :( I really wanna figure it out! great vid!

Im pretty sure you are using the bambu scraper upside down, I dont think that nub is a thumb guard but is used to set the angle so you don't cut into your buildplate as I did using it like you did.

So now that you have been using the ams…. If you were buying them over again would you get the ams with the original ones?

Too bad there's no other way to move the part to a different spot other than re-slicing it... It seems like printing the same narrow part in the same location could cause a lot of wear on that area of the PEI plate...

I’m going to change your whole world….

Take your build plate off and flex it and all your items just pop off instantly.

Also wash your build plates from time to time, especially if you’re running a farm the filament leeches sugars and other things that are causing those sticking spots

Thanks to bamboo labs? Everything you’ve preferred to those just stuff they’ve borrowed from open source other peoples hard work.
