I'm not a big fan of the crown but I will say that it is unique. The Diamond Nexus crown was the best in my opinion.

I feel so lonely since apparently I'm the only one liking this crown. It's unique and I like the idea of symbolising the New York skyline. btw, the title for the worst crown in history should belong to the 2008 one. poor Dayana.

Gabriela's voice is so nice to listen to... there is a genuine kindness you can feel... about the crown?? so many people think of that as one of the remnants of superman's world... the french fries sprayed or covered with foil... or a crown for kids at a costume party... this crown might not stay that long...

Looking back, this crown, while unique and very polarizing, is also quite a challenge to match with outfits due mostly to the prominent blue stones in it. Proof of that is how it looked best on Pia because it matched the blue gown she won in. However, it's a also crown that can be worn and pulled off by just about any gender. Definitely not MU's best crown, but surely not the worst either - the 2008 one and the earliest crowns before the Chandelier one were mostly hideous.

What were they thinking?!? The traditional MU crown used between 60's all the way till 2001 was beautiful, timeless, so classy.... Then the Mikimoto one was spectacular so modern but at the same time classy and a timeless piece.... then the previous one used between 2008 - 2013 was a pretty piece but looking to average.... BUT now this last one looks cheap and so plain... MISS UNIVERSE ORGANIZATION IS LOOSING IT'S CREDIBILITY AND IT IS SHOWING!!!! Sad to realize it.
